Senior EME Engineer

Pershore Area – 37 hours per week

Due to recent and expected increases in our levels of business we are looking to recruit a skilled and flexible EME Engineer to join our team to work in a stimulating and challenging environment where no two days are the same.

We require a skilled engineer to enhance and develop our testing capability at the Malvern Optical Facility on Throckmorton Airfield. The successful candidate may, in addition to his or her EMC testing and reporting tasks, provide consultancy support to some of our clients in the EME field and conduct additional tasks such as project based research and development activities. Demonstrable competence in EMC testing in a business environment or a postgraduate qualification in a physical science is essential. Familiarity of working within a UKAS accredited environment is highly desirable.

In your career to date you will have demonstrated competence in most or, ideally, all of the following areas; EMC platform assessment, radiation hazard testing, TEMPEST testing, design of EMC testing regimes, measurement uncertainty analysis, working with Government customers, good communication and presentation skills.
As part of your job role it is likely you will be required to assist in other non-related technical areas and trials activities within the Company.
The post will require the successful candidate to be willing to undertake travel within the UK or abroad in support of project or business activities and to occasionally work outside of normal working hours.
