Getting here
Malvern Optical is on Throckmorton Airfield, north of Pershore, Worcestershire.
If arriving via the M5, you need to exit at junction 6 off the M5 and on to the A44 heading East.
From the East you come through the village of Throckmorton off the A44.
From the West, the disused airfield is located off Long Lane and accessed through the village of Pinvin off the A44.
Upon Arrival
Once at the site entrance, you should proceed to the visitors car park at the front of Hangar 3 (following the on-site signage) or phone the office during out of hours for access (01386 553188).
Report to the visitor’s reception where you will be booked in and met by your host. In order to speed up this process, please bring with you a form of identification.
Please note, some items are restricted within the Malvern Optical facility and you may be asked to stow these items at reception or leave them in your vehicle:
- Photography equipment
- Mobile phones and other communications equipment
- Laptops and USB storage devices
